REMINDERS

1. Monday, 11/27 dismissal is at 12 noon. After school is in session for those who need it.
2. Homework given out last week is due Tuesday, 11/28 - children had ample time to complete assignments and anything handed in after will be given a late mark with only half credit.
3. As mentioned on Report Card night, children are still getting familiarized with the program FrontRow and once they have had enough practice with it, I will be sending home the login information so that students can begin to complete assignment at home.
4. Sight Word Assessment grades will be sent home this week. Please review, sign and return; reminder to parents, reinforcement, reinforcement, reinforcement.

Week of 11/20 - 11/24

REMINDERS

1. Monday, 11/20 is the last day to bring in canned food for the poor.
2. Report Cards will be distributed to students who have no outstanding tuition balance on Monday 11/20.
3. Sight Words Assessment 2 is on Monday, 11/20.
4. Parent Teacher Conference is on Tuesday, 11/21 from 2-8pm sharp. Students will have 12 noon dismissal, please advise anyone who picks up your child.
5. Thanksgiving homework will be sent on Tuesday 11/21.
6. Math, Module 1 Assessment will be Wednesday, 11/22 on numbers 0 - 10. Have your child review counting.
7. Thanksgiving Mass is on Wednesday 11/22 at 9am, parents may join us. Class party will also be on Wednesday, children may dress up, no sneakers or jeans.
8. No new sight words will be given this week since it's a short week.

     Tuesday 11/21

1. Review counting numbers 0 - 10. Assessment tomorrow.
2. Homework for both Reading and Math was sent home today in your child's homework folders. Please have them complete the assignments over the Thanksgiving break and return on Tuesday, 11/28. These assignments will be counted towards homework grades for the second quarter. **The math worksheets serve as a great review for their math test that they will have when they come back.
3. For tomorrow children may dress down, NO Sneakers or Jeans!
4. Students may leave book bags and lunchboxes at home unless parents wish to send those in after school something for later on in the day.

REMINDERS

1. During the month of November, the school is asking students to collect canned goods for the poor. We ask that students bring in as many cans as they can throughout the month. The class with the most cans collected, will win a pizza party.
2. Friday, 11/17 students may dress up as their favorite Mickey Mouse character to celebrate Mickey and Minnie Mouse's Birthday. Costume contest will be held at 1:00pm, parents are welcomed to join.
3. Please continue to reinforce at home sight words, assessment 2 will be coming up soon.
4. $5 for Thanksgiving Party due Friday 11/17, food will be cooked and ordered for the kids, and parents can send in goodies if they wish as some did for Halloween, Thank you.
