Lessons: 2nd Grade takes end of Unit 1 assessment in the Pearson reading program, learns about shades of meaning of verbs, continues to learn about the human body, takes a quiz about our national government, and continues to learn about our faith and how to grow as Jesus' disciples.

Lessons: 3rd Grade continues to read About Earth in the Pearson reading program, learns about pronouns as compound subjects and objects, and continues to review and prepare for NY Archdiocesan Mid-Term Exam.

On a tri-fold board, answer the following questions about the Apostle you have chosen. Make sure to check over your information for grammar, punctuation, and spelling. A reminder that you are not copying and pasting information from the internet, as you remember that I've explained in class that doing so is called plagiarism. All work done on your board must be put into your own words.
  • What is an Apostle?
  • What is your Apostles name?
  • Where is he from?
  • What is a notable story about your Apostle?
  • What is your Apostle known for?
  • What is the Apostles Creed?
  • What are you vowing to believe in when you pray it?
  • What is one question that you would ask your Apostle?
Include pictures - be creative!

  • Name your parable and where in the Scriptures we can find it.
  • Provide a short explanation of the parable.
  • Who were the characters?
  • What is the central meaning of the parable?
  • What is the significance of the parable?
  • What does the parable tell you about Jesus and the Kingdom of God
  • Why do you think that parables were used in the Bible?
