- Continue to review sight words with your children, I plan to begin assessments on Wednesdy

Tuesday 1/3
During the next week, our math class will compare the weights of objects in the classroom by using
the words heavier than, lighter than, or the same as. As a guide, I urge parents to create an account (if you haven't done so yet) on GreatMinds. On here you'll be able to find Homework Helpers and Parent Tip Sheets for each module that we cover and the lessons within them. These supplements are a great aide to you as the parent when helping your child complete their homework.
- Complete math worksheet for lessons 7 and 8
- Write each sight word 3 times each in homework notebook
Wednesday 1/4
- Complete math worksheet for lesson 9
- Write a sentence for each sight word in homework notebook

Friday 1/6
Progress Reports were sent home today. As per Mr. Woods, please look them over so that you know how your child has been doing, sign and send them back to me on Monday, Thanks.
I ask that over the weekend you log onto Superkids Online Fun to review with your child their letter sounds and blending. If you cannot login it's because I still have not received an email address to register your child with (I've been asking parents since October).
Reviews for the Math and Reading Mid-Terms will be posted next week, so please keep an eye out for those.
