REMINDERS 2nd GRADE HOMEROOM
**Please remind children of classroom and school rules; make sure your child has sharpened pencils every morning for school.**
MAP Skills is an online program that should be used daily by students to help them master those skills of difficulties. MAP testing will be done this week. Please continue to log on and practice skills assigned. Reminder that students should be on daily for at least a 20 - 30 minutes time length.Announcement to parents: It is great that we are able to start enjoying warm weather. As you all know it will only get warmer, with that in mind I ask parents to please send their children to school properly groomed. - Please make sure children are properly groomed and uniforms are nicely pressed for tomorrow as Mr. Woods will be taking pictures to send out to the Moglia family for their generous donations.
- Complete class assignment for social studies in notebook. Vocabulary for chapter 11, lessons 1 and questions A & C on p. 251
Tuesday 5/15:
- Complete class assignment for social studies in notebook. Vocabulary chapter 11, lesson 2 and questions A, C, & D on p. 257
Wednesday 5/16: Children should bring in a rosary for the May procession.
Thursday 5/17:
- Children May wear play clothes
- Next Thursday, May 24th, the children will be going on a trip to the Bronx Zoo. The cost is $14. Please sign and return the permission slip as soon as possible, no later than Monday, May 21st.
