October 22 - 26

REMINDERS
*Please continue to reinforce class and school rules daily.
*Pearson test this week for second grade on Friday 10/26.
*Money for individual picture day MUST be given to Mrs. Resto by Friday 11/2.


THIS WEEK IN CLASS ...
All classes are covering Safe Environment lessons during religion.

Lessons: 2nd Grade finishes Module A for Unit 1 in ReadyGen and takes a test on Snowshoe Hare's Winter Home; they learn to distinguish between common and proper nouns; finish learning about maps and begin to prepare for next week's map test; continues to learn about animals; and as disciples of Jesus, explore ways to share god's love and peace with others.

Lessons: 3rd Grade continues to compare two text in reading; learns about nouns, common and proper; and explores how the sacraments are celebrated.

Lessons: 4th Grade explores ways in which we are strengthened by the Eucharist

HOMEWORK
Monday 10-22
2nd Grade:
*Begin to study all vocabulary words for next week's reading vocabulary test. Your child should have 53 vocabulary words written in their notebooks by the end of this week. All 53 words must be studies.
*Complete reading Logs
*Complete vocab for social studies pp. 30 - 33 and questions and answers on p. 33 A & C only

 3rd Grade:
*Begin to study all vocabulary words for next week's reading vocabulary test.

 4th Grade:
*Test were given back today, sign and return tomorrow.

 Tuesday 10-23
2nd Grade:
*Continue to study reading vocabulary words in the notebook; they are also accessible on the link located at the top left side of my blog under All Vocabulary Words.
*Complete reading Logs.
*Complete Voyages pp. 38 - 39.
*If students did not finished p. 38 questions A & B and vocab on pp. 34-38 they must complete for homework in notebook
