LESSONS

Students will be MAP testing for reading this week. They will also continue to read their assigned text and reinforce skills such as asking and answering questions to demonstrate understanding of key details, refer to details in a text when making inferences, explain how the central message is conveyed through key details, and analyze how visual elements contribute to the meaning of a text.

HOMEWORK
Monday, 01/13 - Thursday, 01/16
*Grades 2-5 should complete 30 minutes of Success Maker for Reading, completion of time will be checked daily.
*Students should be in bed early to get a good night's rest for tomorrow's MAP testing.
*Please arrive to school on time as we are testing in the morning.

Tuesday, 01/14
*Grades 2-5 should complete 30 minutes of Success Maker
*Grade 2 complete Voyages, pp. 98-101
*Grade 5 complete RWJ p. 120, log onto Pearson to access The Road to Freedom, ch. 5 & 6

Wednesday, 01/15
*Grade 4 - complete the assignment in Google Classroom for Quizizz (cause & effect)
*Grades 2 - 5 are to complete 2 sessions of Success Maker (about 40 - 45 mins; each session is 20 minutes)

Thursday, 01/16
*5th grade complete p. 125 in RWJ & any unfinished classwork
*Success Maker for 20 mins (one session) grades 2-5
