Week of 11/14 - 11/18

Reminders

• Friday, November 18th - SCHOOL CLOSED. Instructional Conference Day for teachers.
• Thursday, November 17th - Thanksgiving Presentations; parents are more than welcomed to join us at 9:00 am in the auditorium and must leave right after. 
• We are still collecting canned foods for the poor and hungry. Our class was able to collect a total of 37 cans just last week. If you can help and bring in more cans this week it will be highly appreciated.
• Sight Word assessments will be given this week once again; children will be assessed individually and must be able to read the sight words from a flash card (especially the ones that were sent home to be reinforced from the last assessment).

- Write each sight word 3 times each in homework notebook

- Complete math homework for lesson 1 (Module 2)

- Review sight words

Tuesday 11/15
- Complete math homework for lesson 2 (Module 2)
- Review sight words, assessment will continue until Thursday.

Wednesday 11 /16
- Complete math worksheet for lesson 3 (Module 2)
- Sight word sentences in homework notebook
- Review sight words; tomorrow is the last day I'll be assessing for sight words and an index card with words that need to be reinforced along with your child's score will be sent home. I ask that you practice and review over the Thanksgiving break.
- Tomorrow children may wear dress down clothes, but NO JEANS.
- Parents can also join us tomorrow morning at 9:00 am in the auditorium for Thanksgiving presentation.

Thursday 11 /17

- Complete page 51, 52, 53, 54 in Phonics book
- Review sight words, an index card with words that need to be reinforced along with your child's score was sent home today.
- $5 are being collected on Monday 11/21 for Thanksgiving Party.
- NO SCHOOL TOMORROW 11/18
