I am excited to continue the rest of the school year with both the second and third grade students. I want to thank the families of the second graders, third graders and kindergarteners for your lovely gifts. They were all so thoughtful and very much appreciated.
REMINDERS
- Wednesday 1/3: January calendars will be distributed and sent home.
- Thursday 1/4: Feast of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, mass will be held at 9AM and parents are welcomed.
- Friday 1/5: Progress Reports will be sent home.
- **Please make sure your child has sharpened pencils every morning for school. In the two weeks prior to Christmas break I had students ask for pencils countless of times. Reminder that being ready and prepared for class is essential.**
- All assignments posted for Christmas break as homework on Front Row are due Wednesday 1/10.
- Review for 3rd grade Mid-Terms will be posted up next week, please keep an eye out for that.
- I will continue with ELA vocabulary words for both 2nd and 3rd grade; I will post up all the words Mrs. Bagley has given students prior to this week and I will continue with my words right underneath. Please check again by Friday 1/5 for the link to all vocabulary words. As always, students will copy vocabulary words in their ELA notebook, this will prevent any confusion and misplacing of words once testing comes.
2nd Grade Homework

- Social Studies: Complete classwork, answer questions A, C, and E on p. 63 in class work notebook. Write out the question.
- ALL students may dress down tomorrow & come prepared for snowball fight if they choose to join.

**ANOUCEMENT**
3rd grade parents, Mr. Woods will be generating out a NEW progress report on Monday 1/8 to address the issue of marks printed for English Language Arts. ALL marks for students will be reviewed and fixed accordingly for Monday. We ask that you still sign the ones sent home today and return. Unfortunately there was an error with the system that caused for marks to be incorrectly printed.
