* The end of the quarter is this Friday, 11/08 - any missing assignments should be handed in by Thursday, 11/07
* 5th grade has their Pearson test on Tuesday, 11/05 & 4th grade has their Pearson test on Friday, 11/08
* Wednesday, 11/06, school is closed
* Parents have been asking about the 2nd grade religion project, please check you child´s notebook. Students have written down the project´s expectations as Ms. Alvarado has instructed them.
* A reminder to parents that Ms. Alvarado does not have a O.L.Q.M. blog because she is our in-house substitute teacher, not a contracted teacher.

HOMEWORK
Students should make an effort to bring in canned food daily for our yearly canned food drive in November. All collected cans are made in efforts to help those less fortunate.

* All grades are to finish copying vocabulary words from class, due Thursday; begin to study as quiz will be next week on Tuesday.
*As per Ms. Alvarado, all students (grades 2-8) will have a religion quiz next week on vocabulary words; students should take home their notebooks and begin to study.
* 4th grade is to complete p. 49 on loose leaf of Voyages workbook.
* 2nd grade is to complete voyages pp. 56 - 59

* 2nd grade was given a name of a tribe for Native American Heritage Month; students were explained in class what to do but a letter will be sent out tomorrow to parents with directions and expectations of the project - project is due Monday, Nov. 18th
* 4th grade complete p. 95 of voyages workbook on loose-leaf; use a blue color pencil/crayon to underline the adverbs
* 5th grade complete pp. 55 - 57 RWJ
