REMINDERS
*Tuesday, Jan. 28th - Open House, parents are welcomed to join their children and sit in the back of the classrooms from 8:30 - 11:00 AM to observe the everyday teaching that goes on
*Wednesday, Jan. 29th - Religion Fair 9:00 - 10:30 AM for all grades in the auditorium, parents are welcomed to join us
*Thursday, Jan. 30th - Math Bee at 9:00 AM in the auditorium, parents are welcomed to join us
*Friday, Jan. 31st - Early Dismissal; Parent-Teacher Conference 2:00 - 6:00 PM
LESSONS
This week marks the first week of the third marking period. Students who have been struggling in the previous two marking periods are encouraged to put their best foot forward and work hard to improve on their academics. Students will continue to read grade level text and build on reading skills such as: distinguishing points of view, make inferences, use illustrations to convey mood of a text, and compare & contrast stories of the same genre with similar topics.

HOMEWORK
Monday, Jan. 27th
*Grades 2-5 complete classwork if not done in class

Wednesday, Jan. 29th
*Grades 2-5 are to complete 1 session of Success Maker for ELA

Thursday, Jan. 30th
*Grade 2 reread Marching with Aunt Susan, test selection tomorrow
*Grades 3 & 4 complete classwork
*Grade 5 assignments on Edulastic posted - due Monday, Feb. 3rd
