Starting Monday, March 19th the procedure at arrival time is to drop off your child at the classroom door and only the child is permitted to enter the classroom. As you will notice Mr. Woods will be sitting outside of the classroom to reinforce this.

Alongside Front Row and Khan Academy, MAP Skills should be used for a minimum of 20 minutes per day. This will also help prepare your child for NYS Testing.

  • Please send with your child study plastic bags by Wednesday in order to place their books away for Easter Recess, Thanks!
  • March 19: 3rd grade will be taking their end of Unit 2 Assessment.
  • March 22: School will be closed in compliance with an Active Shooter Training that faculty will attend.
  • March 23: Passion Play in Church @ 8:30 am, parents are welcomed to join us!
  • Easter recess is from 3/24 - 4/8; classes will resume on 4/9.
  • April 11 & 12: 3rd grade will take their NYS ELA test; keep in mind that it is imperative for students to practice on MAP Skills and Front Row over the break. Please check on Thursday evening for a separate posting for directions and assignments to be done on both sites.

  • March 12: Early Dismissal is at 12 noon sharp; after school is in session if needed
  • March 15 & 16: Second grade will be having their test selection tests for both texts Theodore Roosevelt: The Adventurers President & Marching with Aunt Susan; both texts can be accessed on Pearson if parents wish to reread with their children.
  • March 16: Green Day; students may wear something green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day
  • March 22: School will be closed in compliance with an Active Shooter Training that faculty will attend

March 8: Sacrament of Reconciliation is at 10 AM, parents are welcomed.

Tuesday 3/6:
- Log onto MAPSkills and complete the missions assigned under vocabulary. Due 3/8
Wednesday 3/7:
- Complete assignments due tomorrow on MAP Skills and Khan Academy.
Thursday 3/8:
- Begin to study vocabulary and chapter concepts for social studies chapter 6 & 7 pp. 130-165 test next week.
- Marching with Aunt Susan will be assigned on Pearson, please logon and read with your child the story. They will be having their test selection on Monday 3/12.
- For students who went home after Reconciliation, please complete pp. 185-168 in RWJs. Complete sections for Benchmark Vocabulary, Write in Response, & Conventions.
- New assignments will be posted tonight to work on over the weekend for Front Row and MAP Skills. It is imperative that students logon and complete assignments for academic progress, especially for those who are struggling to pass ELA.

- Study the four types of Mysteries 
- Complete assignments due tomorrow on MAP Skills and Khan Academy.
Thursday 3/8:
- Begin to study the four types of Mysteries for test next week.
